Headed out from DFW Friday afternoon to do a little mid season turkey hunting. Friday night was decent, Gobblers were non existent though. Hens were quiet, but I nearly stepped on a fairly large hen while sneaking through the trees. Scared the hell outta me.
Saturday was awful. The wind was just beating down on all of us, we decided to call it pretty quickly.
Ended up losing a couple of decoys to the wind.
Here's to hoping for a better weekend in May!
